Catholic Charities makes it possible for the Church to exercise charity - to be a Church that reaches out and lives the mission of service to the poor and vulnerable
- providing help and creating hope

- Cardinal Joseph Tobin, Archbishop of Newark

"A basic moral test is how our most vulnerable members are faring. In a society marred by deepening divisions between rich and poor, our tradition instructs us to put the needs of the poor and the vulnerable first."

There are a variety of ways to support our Bountiful Harvest Gala, which is our leading fundraising event of the year.

In addition to attending you can:
  • Purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket - $50 each but only 500 have been printed;
  • Bid on/purchase one of our Silent Auction items;
  • Make a donation to support the event, and our Emergency Food & Nutrition Network;
  • Attend the event remotely via a designated YouTube link.
  • Take out an ad in the Commemorative Journal to recognize one of our honorees or the agency
Visit our Bountiful Harvest site at for more information on the first three, or contact Peter Ruccione directly at 973-818-4060,
