Assistance for Caregivers of the Elderly (Union County)

The Assistance for Caregivers program offers short-term individual counseling to help alleviate the emotional distress (anger, frustration, guilt, isolation, and depression) that many caregivers of elderly individuals experience. Eight (8) free sessions can be provided either in the caregiver´┐Żs home or in the Catholic Charities office at 505 South Avenue East in Cranford.

Eligibility: Any caregiver who lives in Union County and cares for a person aged 62 or older.
