HIV/AIDS Services
Canaan House
Canaan House is a full-service, permanent, supported,
independent living facility designed to meet the special needs of homeless
people living with HIV/AIDS and a severe and persistent mental illness
(SPMI) and/or chemical addiction. Canaan House provides a full continuum
of care including:
- Staff on site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week;
- 24/7 crisis intervention and emergency services;
- Group and individual mental health and substance abuse services;
- Home health-care services;
- Benefits management services;
- Nutrition education;
- Food preparation and housekeeping services;
- Vocational rehabilitation services;
- Life skills and personal care education services;
- Family support services; and
- Case management and referral services.

Good Shepherd
Good Shepherd provides permanent housing and
supportive services to homeless men 21 years of age and older who are living
with HIV/AIDS. These include:
- Case management services
- Advocacy services
- Meals as needed
- Self-help support
- Mental health and substance abuse services

Residence
Franciska Residence is a transitional housing program for homeless men living with HIV/AIDS.
Clients receive a variety of services including:
- Individual and group counseling recovery support
- Skills building
- Nutrition education
- Social opportunities
- Referrals for education, permanent housing, job training, mental health and substance abuse issues
- Case management services
- Three meals a day
Services are provided in a safe, caring environment
designed to strengthen the individual’s coping mechanisms so that
he is prepared for a permanent living situation.

St. Bridget's HIV/AIDS Support
Network
St. Bridget's HIV/AIDS Support Network provides
supportive services to people living with HIV/AIDS, as well as their families
and significant others. Based on individual needs, clients can access:
- Educational workshops on nutrition, health, stress reduction and
other life skills areas;
- Referrals to mental health and/or substance abuse counseling;
- Advocacy services; and
- Recreational activities.
